Thanksgiving Cruise
DCYC Outstation at Iron Bay Friday October 4th to 6th 2024.
$35.00 per person.
Thanks to the generosity of Deep Cove Yacht Club for once again allowing us to use their beautiful outstation to host our event.
Event Details:
Friday October 3rd
- Arrive and do some set up.
- For those who arrive early, a meet and greet Happy Hour at 5pm on the docks. Please bring a small appetizer to contribute
Saturday, Oct. 4th
- Morning, a wood chopping party and distribution of food to various boats
- Lunch provided, hot dogs and fixings
- Afternoon Crib Tournament
- 7 pm full Turkey Dinner provided (distributed preparation/cooking!)
- After dinner cards or just sit and relax and unwind with old and new friends by the fire
Sunday, Oct. 5th
- 10 am Big Brunch provided
- Clean up and Good byes

Bedwell Bay Raft Up Cruise
CanBoat North Shore Cruise to Bedwell Bay.
CanBoat North Shore is hosting a free raft up cruise in Bedwell Bay to celebrate Canada Day.
Boats will anchor and raft together, and members & guests can spend a weekend socializing, relaxing and having fun in Bedwell Bay.
We will offer shuttle service via dinghy from Belcarra for anyone who wishes to attend without a boat.
Please bring your own food, beverages and supplies!
When registering, please indicate if you would need a dinghy ride from Belcarra, or if you would be willing and able to provide dinghy rides.
Arrive Friday, September 1st look for Doug Wood in Classy Lady II monitory channel 68.
Saturday, September 2nd enjoy time with everyone rafted up.
Sunday, September 3rd pack up your potluck dish and dinghy over to land and a short walk to Belcarra Park. All those driving in for the potluck can be found at shelter #1.
There will be games on the grass, music and good food.
Father’s Day Cruise
Bowen Island
Join us June 6th -8th 2025 for our annual Fathers Day Cruise! Everyone is welcome, by land or sea.
You don’t need a boat to join, guests are welcome to come by ferry for the day.
Tickets are $35 per person for the full weekend, which includes all weekend activities and meals.
For landlubbers, tickets are $15 per day to join us on Saturday or Sunday. Landlubbers can take the Bowen Island Ferry. The last Ferry is at 10:30PM so there is plenty of time to join for the dock party and dinner. You don’t need to have a boat to join in the fun!
We are a volunteer organization, so there will be ‘all hands on deck’ to help out with the festivities. Please consider helping – sign up HERE to help.
*IMPORTANT* If you are planning to come by boat, and you have not reserved a slip, call the Union Steamship Marina ASAP to reserve your spot. Moorage will fill up fast, so call 604-947-0707 to reserve, and let them know you are with CPS North Shore Squadron. Smaller boats will be on A dock, larger boats on E dock.

If you have any lawn games, ideas to keep us all entertained and if you are up for a walk in the woods, come prepared. Pray that the weather is going to be good, but if not, we’ll have tarps set up to keep us dry at the events.

Dress to impress in your favorite holiday attire and get ready to make some unforgettable memories with your squadron mates.
Join us on Sat Nov 29th, 2025 at 7:00 PM for a festive evening filled with delicious food, drinks and music.
